URBICSA, together with the company CEAL9 and on behalf of the Ciutat de la Justícia Business Park, has participated this November in the solidarity campaign to collect food promoted by the Fundació Banc dels Aliments de Barcelona.
This was the second time that URBICSA has collaborated in the food collection campaign, giving a voice to the Foundation and encouraging people to participate in the online donation system facilitated by the same organization.
The Fundació Banc dels Aliments de Barcelona has been working for years on tasks to ensure that food reaches those who need it most, mainly children and adults at risk of social exclusion.
On this occasion, the collaboration with the Fundació Banc dels Aliments has not only aimed to alleviate the situation of people at risk of malnutrition, but has also had a special component this year: 50% of the food collected has been destined to those affected by the DANA in Valencia.
This natural disaster has left many families in a situation of extreme vulnerability, so this gesture of solidarity seeks to alleviate, in part, the needs of those who have suffered the consequences of the floods.
The campaign has been possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of all those who have participated. Through their donations, the employees and collaborators of URBICSA and CEAL9 have demonstrated their solidarity with the most disadvantaged, contributing to improving the quality of life of many people. Thanks to all of them, a total of 145 kg of food has been collected.
In this sense, URBICSA underlines the importance of corporate social responsibility and the need to collaborate in initiatives that promote the well-being of the community. From URBICSA we express our desire to continue working on future campaigns that promote solidarity and support for those who need it most.
