URBICSA has actively participated in the development of the project ‘EMAS Let’s play!‘, an initiative led by Club EMAS (Association of EMAS registered organisations in Catalonia).
Through this innovative training proposal, Club EMAS aims to “implement digitalisation in processes of involvement and environmental awareness of the workers of EMAS organisations in Catalonia”.
The digital game ‘EMAS Let’s play!‘, consists of a route that the players must take until they reach the finish line. Throughout the circuit, there are ten tasks and four subtasks that must be executed, all of them within the framework of the proposed fields, among which are: water, green purchase, energy saving, waste and biodiversity, among others.
This project aims to raise awareness about environmental awareness within the organizations and companies that are part of the EMAS collective in Catalonia.
To encourage participation, the three people with the highest score from each participating organization are awarded a prize, which consists of a batch of organic products. Likewise, there are three other general prizes raffled among all the people with the highest score obtained.
URBICSA has been one of the five pioneering organisations of this initiative thanks to the involvement of the company’s EGS consultant, Joan Lluís Climent Manresa.
URBICSA employees have been able to participate in the pilot test of the EMAS Club programme-project. An opportunity with which they have not only been able to train in environmental management, but they have also been able to contribute their opinion and leave their comments on improvement in the “feedback” survey provided by EMAS.
By collaborating in this initiative, URBICSA reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement with environmental sustainability and social responsibility. By giving a voice to projects such as the one promoted by Club EMAS, we promote awareness among employees regarding the environmental issues that concern us most and we encourage the implementation of actions that lead us towards a more sustainable future.
