At URBICSA, we continue to move forward in our commitment to sustainability and people’s well-being by introducing new measures that support a real and necessary change in the way we commute. As part of this commitment, we are participating in the AMB initiative, which promotes cycling as a regular means of transport for getting to work.
The program offers the temporary use of both electric and conventional bicycles, with the aim of encouraging more sustainable, healthy and efficient mobility. Through this initiative, employees can experience cycling as a viable alternative to private vehicles, either for the entire journey or in combination with public transport.
With this action, URBICSA reinforces its commitment to reducing emissions associated with daily commuting, easing urban congestion and contributing to a more sustainable and healthier city. At the same time, the initiative has a positive impact on employees’ well-being by promoting physical activity, reducing commuting-related stress and improving overall quality of life.
URBICSA is firmly committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to building a more balanced and environmentally responsible future. Each initiative we promote aims to generate a positive impact by encouraging responsible habits, supporting people’s well-being and contributing to more conscious and sustainable development. For us, sustainability is not just a goal, but a guiding principle in our decisions and actions, benefiting both society and the planet.
Joining this Barcelona Metropolitan Area initiative represents another step forward in our commitment to responsible mobility and to an organisational model that places people and the environment at its core.
