Access Protocol Building D - Guide of good practices against Covid-19
Urbicsa provides this Guide of good practices at work to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This is intended to be an effective tool to prevent the spread of the virus in the City of Justice.
Some of these exceptional measures will be applied in relation to access to buildings which will be mandatory.
This guide is updated according to the measures proposed by the health authority.
Signing of the Collaboration Agreement with the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation
Urbicsa has signed a collaboration agreement with the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation to carry out the study “European Platform to Promote Wellbeing and Health in the workplace – EMPOWER”, to design and evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of an e-health platform to promote wellbeing and prevent mental health problems in the workplace. This study is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, with the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation (FSJD) as the promoter and executor of the project.
Work Environment
Urbicsa has carried out a survey/study of the working environment among all its workers in order to find out the degree of satisfaction and motivation of all the staff, and thus be able to apply policies for improvement in those areas where it is considered necessary. The results of the work environment survey have been very satisfactory.
Data security
In terms of data security, Urbicsa has a Committee that ensures regulatory compliance to the fullest extent, to ensure maximum protection of all personal data, as well as to ensure that all individual rights with respect to these can be exercised.
As a guarantee of all this, Urbicsa has adhered to the Digital Pact for the Protection of Individuals, of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Cybersecurity
In order to defend electronic systems from malicious attacks and thus ensure the protection of all information generated and processed through them, regular audits of the systems are carried out to ensure their reliability.
Cardioprotected space
Urbicsa complies with the protocols of Espais Cardioprotegits Catalunya within the Ciutat de la Justicia.
For this, training and recycling courses have been carried out in basic life support and use of the DESA/DEA.

Hiring Recycling Waste Containers for Building D
Another step towards sustainability taken by Urbicsa is the hiring of recycling waste containers to carry out proper waste recycling in the building, which includes premises and offices under its management.
Good Practices Guide for Suppliers
URBICSA has developed the good practices guide for supplier companies, in order to promote good governance and sustainability of all the organizations that collaborate with it.
New Cybersecurity Audit
As done every year, an external company will conduct a new audit of the electronic systems to propose and implement improvements, in order to guarantee the protection of all generated and processed information.
Courses for Proper Defibrillator Use
Having basic life support equipment is not enough; it is necessary for the building users to know how to use it. To this end, Urbicsa will organize new courses so that more users are capable of using them.
Well-being and safety of users, workers and collaborators
URBICSA considers health, safety and well-being as priority elements in the management of the Ciutat de la Justícia. For this reason, the company will continue to develop measures aimed at both its internal team and users, contractors, suppliers and other people who interact with the facilities.
