Urbicsa is the concessionary company of the “City of Justice” managed by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
Its main purpose is to provide the necessary infrastructure so that all the people involved in the process of administering justice (civil servants, magistrates, prosecutors, forensic experts, lawyers, solicitors, security forces, etc.) can provide efficient public service for all citizens.
Our social contribution is based on fulfilling our purpose in the most efficient and compatible way with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) values, committing ourselves to apply these principles at all levels, making a positive contribution to the community of which Urbicsa is a part.
The company allocates 0.7% of its taxes to finance projects and activities of social interest.
Some of the actions in which Urbicsa has taken part are the following:
Urbicsa has joined the Solidarity Company campaign, by checking the corresponding box on Corporate Tax, to allocate 0.7% of its tax to finance projects and activities of social interest.
These projects developed by third sector organisations are aimed at guaranteeing the rights of citizens, the fight against poverty, social exclusion and inequality and are aimed at moving towards a fairer, more egalitarian and inclusive society.
In this way, for example, projects are financed for social and health care, promotion of health and independent living, inclusion in the community, the fight against discrimination, coverage of educational needs, training and promotion of job placement, promotion of public safety and crime prevention, promotion of equal treatment, prevention of violence, protection of victims, promotion and defence of rights….

Member of AEBALL
Urbicsa as a member of AEBALL (Association of Businesses and Metallurgy Employers’ Union of l’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat), actively participates in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Member of Cumplen
Urbicsa is an Associate Member of Cumplen and adheres to its code of conduct.
Cumplen is the association of regulatory compliance professionals, which promotes the development, professionalisation, implementation of best practices and pursuit of excellence in Regulatory Compliance.

Urbicsa was one of the founding members of the Associació Catalana de Facility Management.
